Gerwig Typeface

Gerwig is a custom typeface inspired by the imperfect charm of my own handwriting and a love for all things vintage. Drawing from an eclectic mix of influences from Art Deco and retro grocery packaging to 1970s fashion and automotive design, the letterforms balance playful personality with old-school character. Designed in Adobe Illustrator and developed into a fully downloadable font using FontForge, Gerwig transforms those varied references into a typeface that feels nostalgic, expressive, and distinctly handmade.
